How To Find A Reliable Dry Cleaner

When it comes to personal items such as clothes, trusting complete strangers to the care of them can be a stressful process. Taking clothes with special cleaning needs to a dry cleaner is one such example. However, there is no need to worry about leaving clothes in the care of somebody else, so long as proper research has been done on the dry cleaner first.

1. The first thing a person should do is ask around about a good business. This can be accomplished in many different ways. If any friends or family members live in the area and have used a dry cleaner in the past, they should be consulted on what should be selected. If somebody has had a bad experience, an inconvenient or even tragic situation can be avoided. A person can also check online communities and websites for more information, as well. Although many dry cleaner reviews will not be relevant to the researcher's area, some will be.

2. Once a dry cleaner has been selected, caution should still be used. No matter how many good or bad reviews a business has received, they should still be tested. The researcher should select clothing that does not have any significant value to use as a test for the company's cleaning quality. When visiting the building, it should be checked to see just how clean it is. A building that looks as though it has not been cleaned in months, if at all, means that the dry cleaning quality will likely match it. This dry cleaner should therefore be avoided.

Items that hold a lot of value for a certain group of people or person should be handled with the utmost care; just because clothes are worn and not locked away does not mean a looser philosophy should be used. When finding the right place to dry clean more delicate clothes, it is important to follow the above steps. Doing research and testing out a dry cleaner before bringing out the priceless items is vital the sanity of the owner, not to mention the longevity of the clothes. This does not have to be a stressful process; it simply has to be a careful one.

  • Fremont Street Experience 425 Fremont St Ste 250, Las Vegas NV
Linda We like to go down the Fremont Street Experience and revisit all of the great, old neon signs and small casinos to remember what Las Vegas used to be like. The street is closed to traffic and the five-block entertainment complex has spectacular light and sound shows on the giant overhead screen. It is fun to check out the live bands on the different street corners and do some shopping in the specialty retail shops and kiosks. Ten of the casinos open out onto the Fremont Street Experience so it is easy to find your way around.
  • Canter's Deli 3300 Las Vegas Blvd S, Las Vegas NV
Linda We went to the Canter’s Deli at Treasure Island located adjacent to the Race and Sports Book that has a cool ultra modern design with the sculptures and lighting. Canter’s is famous for their corned beef and pastrami sandwiches, made-on-the-premises slightly hot pickles, rich cheese blintzes, bean-and-barley and matzo ball soups and ruggelah from their European bakery. The food was absolutely yummy and the sandwiches were HUGE! My husband had a club sandwich with turkey, corn beef and pastrami. I had a corn beef and pastrami sandwich. There was enough left over for lunch the next day so be sure and bring your appetite!
